How we started
Founded by a handful of curious students
A group of 8 CSE students started a WhatsApp group to share ML resources and help each other learn Python and data science.
First official workshop — 30 attendees
Organized the first formal Python for ML workshop. The overwhelming response showed there was a real need at UU.
First Hackathon — 12 teams, 50+ participants
Hosted UU's first ever ML hackathon. The winning team built a crop disease detector that got featured in local media.
320+ members, this website, and growing
Now one of UU's most active student clubs — with a full curriculum, regular events, and members from every department.
What we stand for
Open Access
All workshops and resources are free. Knowledge should have no barrier for UU students.
